Children's Program Room
For families with children of all ages. Drop in to the children's program room anytime between 10:00am and 11:30am for sensory play. Go at your own pace as you and your child visit the interactive stations to touch, see, and explore!
Join our new book club with titles perfect for 2nd and 3rd graders! Read Dory and the Real True Friend by Abby Hanlon, then join us to talk about the book and have a snack with fellow readers.
Yoga Sprouts is 45 minutes of fun movements and music perfect for kids. Mats are not needed, but bring it along if you have one.

For kids ages 5 and up. Keva planks are simple stacking planks with amazing possibilities. Drop in to the children's library anytime between 4:00pm - 6:00pm and choose a grab bag. Each bag contains a challenge card and the planks to complete it. Are you up to the challenge?
Kids ages 5 and up are invited to come and create with library Legos. Drop in anytime between 10:00am - 12:00pm. Try a challenge card, or create your own design. Completed creations will be displayed in the collection case until we run out of space!
For children ages 3 -5. At this storytime preschoolers enjoy songs, fingerplays, movement, and stories that are a little longer. They go in the storytime room by themselves, with their caregiver waiting for them in the Children's Library. It's a chance to practice being a "big kid", and experiencing a program just for them. No registration required, just drop in!
For children ages 3 -5 and a caregiver. At this storytime preschoolers enjoy songs, fingerplays and movement. Stories are a little longer, and there's a craft at the end to support the theme. No registration required, just drop in! Siblings are welcome too.
For children ages 2 - 3 years and a caregiver. At this storytime toddlers transition into a program with a little more structure than the Babies and Books class. Enjoy songs, fingerplays and rhymes, a few stories, and an activity or project to support the theme of the week.
For children under 2 and a caregiver. At this storytime we sing songs, fingerplays and rhymes, share a story, and learn some simple sign language. Play and socialization time in the storytime room follows. No registration required, just drop in!
