Summer Learning Challenge

Wednesday, June 19 - Saturday, August 24

Central Library & Apponaug, Conimicut, and Norwood Branch Libraries


How It Works

1)  Sign up at your library or online (below).

2)  Pick up a Point Tracker at your library or print out (below).

3)  Complete activities to earn points.

4)  Win a prize for every 10 points you earn. (Claim prizes at your library.)


Sign up:

  • Kids (baby - grade 5 completed)
  • Teen (grades 5-12 completed)
  • Adult (ages 18+)


Print out:



(Each activity is worth one point. Activities can be repeated as often as you like.)

A. Read or listen to a book for 20 minutes or more E. Attend a library program
B. Read to someone F. Download a book from EZone or Hoopla
C. Write a review or draw a picture about a book G. Use Tumblebooks or Mango Languages
D. Read a book from a recommended list H. Do summer math for 20 minutes
