The New England Historical and Genealogical Register, affectionately called “The Register” is an important quarterly journal published from 1847 to the present by the The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS).
It contains detailed articles about every aspect of New England local history.
All volumes currently out of copyright have been digitized and made available in full-text by our large institutions.
